The founding shareholder of the firm, Loren received his B.A. and M.A. in Accounting from New Mexico State University and a J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. His 30-plus years of international and domestic experience play a major role in our approach to tax and business consulting services. Representative Matters:
- Represent high net-worth individuals in the structuring and restructuring of Operating business entities, Family Limited Partnerships and 501(c)(3) family foundations.
- Served as Counsel for a $360M 1035 Exchange of cash value between a Foreign Life Company and a Domestic Life Company.
- Successfully defended a Promoter claim against the IRS regarding client’s Captive Insurance.
- Successfully Defended multiple clients against the IRS in various Limited Partner tax transactions.
- Represented multiple clients with Alternative Business Risk Transfer transactions to lower their cost of property & casualty insurance.
- Counseled multiple clients with International business holdings and related cross-border transactions.
- Counseled several clients on redomiciling from the US to Puerto Rico for business and personal tax efficiency.
